BEWARE THE GAWKINS
(posted: November 2013)
* All scripture references are from the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible, unless otherwise noted.
Following in the tradition established by Sir Richard Dawkins, Proves God is introducing a new word, “gawkin”, into the English lexicon. A gawkin is an atheist whose life and works can be used via the scripture patterns to verify God and authenticate God’s Book (see previous article).
The word gawkin was derived from the root word “gawk”, which means to stare or gape stupidly. Gawking is what gawkins may do when they find themselves being used as the evidence for the Book they discredit and the God they deny.
Gawkins may be male or female, living or dead. Chief among living gawkins is Sir Richard Dawkins (interesting the words should rhyme), whose life and works will be detailed in future articles on Proves God as well as being briefly alluded to in the article, Charles Darwin Proves God - Part I. Chief among recently deceased gawkins, is the late Christopher Hitchens, who was detailed in March 2012 on Proves God. Mr. Hitchens famously wrote that God was not in his details. Turns out he was wrong.
