There is a God.

He has a Book.

  1. Billed as a “Woodstock for Atheists,” the Reason Rally assembled on the Washington Mall on the drizzly, rainy day of March 24, 2012. It was “the largest gathering of atheists and secularists in ‘the history of the world’.” 2 “A steady stream of speakers” 2 included headliner and professional atheist, Richard Dawkins, rally organizer and American Atheist president, David Silverman, professional magician and debunker, James “The Amazing” Randi, and comedian and actor, Bill Maher, along with many others. With a healthy dose of mocking, ridicule, and profanity thrown in, the overall message was that unbelief trumps belief every time.

In this article Proves God will demonstrate with evidence how even the largest atheist gathering in the history of the world proves God and the Bible as the word of God. Part I will focus on the year pattern while Part II will focus on the day pattern. Both patterns reveal sufficient details to recognize the Reason Rally, its organizer David Silverman, and its headlining speaker, Richard Dawkins.

“Outrage was the parlance of the day for many speakers, including David Silverman, Reason Rally organizer and American Atheists president. ... In a thundering call for ‘zero tolerance’ for anyone who disagrees with or insults atheism, Silverman proclaimed, ‘stand your ground!’” 3

Attention David Silverman: God disagrees with atheism. The rumors of His non-existence have been greatly exaggerated.

    1. Year Pattern for March 24, 2012/Hebrew Year 5772
      (Psalms 12, 112, 72)
      1. Psalm 12:1-4, 7, 8 [This chapter, relative to March 2012, describes atheism, its goals and methods, Richard Dawkins speech, the first and last names of David Silverman, and David Silverman’s first love, atheism. And all this springs entirely from the date Mr. Silverman hand picked for his Reason Rally.]

To the chief musician. On an eight stringed harp. A Psalm of David.

  1. Help, Lord for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.

“We just ran a poll ... in Britain in which we took the people who ticked a Christian box in the census - and by the way, that figure has come down dramatically.” 6
                                                 Richard Dawkins

“Just look at Canada and parts of Europe, Silverman says; religion there is going extinct.” 1
                                                 David Silverman

“I believe America is not far behind. I believe in two decades, we will be in a position where secularism is the norm.”
                                                 David Silverman

[God speaking through the year pattern for March 2012 agrees with Mr. Silverman and Professor Dawkins. The faithful are disappearing; the godly man really is ceasing.]

2a. They speak idly everyone with his neighbor; ...

“We (atheists) certainly want to let people know, ... we are your neighbors.” 1

“We (atheists) want our friends to know ...” 4

“If people know and love an atheist ...” 1

[Proselytizing unbelief through friendship evangelism.]

b. ... with flattering lips and double heart they speak,

[A favorite tactic of atheist evangelists is to flatter their audience, describing them as intelligent, reasonable, and logical while describing Christian opposition as gullible, ignorant, uninformed, stupid, etc. They describe a world created by evolution as magnificent, beautiful, filled with grandeur, etc. When they describe the very same world created by God, it is bungled, dysfunctional and filled with mistakes. Yet they are describing the same world. They use flattery and deception to win over their audience. They are liars and their father is the father of lies.]

3. May the Lord cut off flattering lips and the tongue that speaks
     proud things.

“I don’t despise religious people, I despise what they stand for.” 6
                                                 Richard Dawkins

“Mock them (Christians)! Ridicule them (Christians)! In public!”
                                                 Richard Dawkins

“What I’m doing is not giving religion respect that it wants but doesn’t deserve. ... And I do not respect the idea that religion deserves respect.” 8
                                                 David Silverman

[Richard Dawkins and David Silverman speak proudly don’t they? The Christopher Hitchens’ Proves God article reveals the fate of those speaking proudly against God.]

4. Who has said, “with our tongue we will prevail; our lips
are our own; who is lord over us?”
[The essence and strategy of atheism.]

“In a thundering call for ‘zero tolerance’ for anyone who disagrees or insults atheism, Silverman proclaimed, ‘stand your ground!’ Silverman meant a verbal, not a literal, call to arms here.” 3

[They will prevail with their tongue; who is lord over them?]

“Across America, in every city, every town, and every school, secularism is on the rise. Whether people call themselves atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, or any other terms used to describe their god free lifestyle ... .” 5

[They are prevailing with their tongue; who is lord over them?]

“It is a thing most wonderful that on this once barren rock orbiting a rather mediocre star on the edge of a rather ordinary galaxy, on this rock a remarkable process we call evolution ... has given rise to ... our species - with a brain big enough to comprehend that process.” 6
                                                 Richard Dawkins

[With only evolution to thank, the professor’s lips are his own.]

6. The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a
furnace of earth, purified seven times.
[How pure is God’s Word? Like superheated silver, purified
seven times. The word ‘silver’ in this verse completes
David Silverman’s full name found within this one chapter.]

from the introduction: A Psalm of DAVID
from the 1st verse: the godly MAN ceases
and from this verse: like SILVER purified seven times

Putting it all together we get both his full name and his passion - atheism.

DAVID - SILVER - the godly MAN ceases.

David Silverman, American Atheists’ president

David Silverman

How fiery was the silver in verse 6? How fiery is David Silverman? Amazingly, the answer to both questions is the number ‘seven.’ Look closely at David Silverman’s own words and count the number of times he references the ‘fire’ that burns within him in this one sound bite.

“‘I think I have more fire (1) than he had,’ Silverman says of his predecessor at American Atheists, Ed Buckner. ‘It (2) shows itself (3) in the billboards; it (4) shows itself (5) in the press; it (6) shows itself (7) in our corporate attitude.’” 8

So in this one chapter in Psalms, linked by date to David Silverman and his Reason Rally, God calls David Silverman by name; He identifies his passion, and He confirms that David Silverman burns seven times hotter than the ordinary atheist. What then is the only ‘reasonable’ conclusion? There is a God; He wrote a book and David Silverman, American Atheists’ president, proves it. David Silverman himself has become the evidence that discredits his own life mission of spreading atheism. Ironic isn’t it?]

7. You shall keep them, O Lord, You shall preserve them from this
      generation forever.

[David Silverman himself proves that God’s word is still in effect at least 2500 years after it was written.]

8. The wicked prowl on every side when vileness is called
     among the sons of man.

“About 20,000 atheist gathered for a Reason Rally hell-bent on damning religion and mocking
beliefs.” 3

“But overall the mood (at the Rally) was festive ... despite the four-letter words slung regularly from the podium.” 4

“They whistled and cheered for (Dawkins) familiar lines such as: ‘I don’t despise religious people. I despise what they stand for.’” 3

[Vileness exalted on March 24, 2012.]

      1. Psalm 112 [In this chapter God describes the benefits for those who fear the Lord and follow His commandments. The tone changes in the last verse, however, when God describes the fate awaiting the wicked.]

        1. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.
[The polar opposite of the atheist who neither fears God nor delights in His commandments.]
        2. The wicked will see it and be grieved; he will gnash his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.
[Who are the wicked? David Silverman says it best in the following quote.]

“Whether people call themselves atheists, agnostics, secular humanists or any other terms used to describe their god-free lifestyle, secularism is coming out of the
          closet.” 5

      2. Psalm 72: 6, 8, 17 [Rain, rain go away.]
        1. He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing; like showers that water the earth.

“‘I’m not sure it is to atheists’ benefit to always present a kinder, gentler face,’ says Greta Christina, a prominent atheist blogger and author of Why Are You Atheists So Angry? (The Reason Rally is) just like Woodstock, she says. She only hopes it doesn’t rain.’” 1

“The Rally was held in gloomy weather at the Capitol Mall. ... The large turnout surprised her because of yesterday’s rain.” 2

“... few seem discouraged by the near constant rain or drizzle.” 3

        1. He shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

“Just look at Canada and, parts of Europe, Silverman says; religion there is going extinct. ‘I believe America is not far behind.’” 1

[God and David Silverman have very different visions of the future for planet earth.]

        1. His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And man shall be blessed in Him; all nations shall call Him blessed.

“Just look at Canada and, parts of Europe, Silverman says; religion there is going extinct. ‘I believe America is not far behind.’” 1

[God will have the final say. All nations, including Canada, Europe, and America, will call Him blessed.]

  1. The Bible tells us that the love of men will grow cold as the day approaches for the Lord’s return. There will be a great falling away of the faithful. David Silverman and Richard Dawkins and all the other speakers at the Reason Rally are likely correct in their assessment; atheism/secularism is gaining in strength and momentum while faith is in decline. But the Bible also tells us the end from the beginning and speaks of the eternal rewards awaiting the faithful in Christ Jesus and the eternal torment awaiting all others. While this may sound provincial to some, it is nevertheless true. The organizers and attendees of the Reason Rally should keep this in mind even as their march toward societal godlessness advances.
